The 1-1 Dallas Cowboys will face the 1-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX. The two teams are both coming off very tough week two losses and have plenty of reason to play their hardest to avoid losing two straight. Last week Dallas was handled mightily by the Seattle Seahawks while the Buccaneers lost to the Giants after a huge New York comeback led by Eli Manning. These teams will certainly get after one another as they try and solidify their teams and find an identity.
Dallas will have to shake off a terrible loss to Seattle where they played on the road against the 12th man that is the Seahawks fan base. They will have the luxury of being home against Tampa Bay this Sunday and will hope to bounce back in a big way. Romo and the Cowboys entire offense struggled in Seattle and face an equally tough defense from the Buccaneers. They must get back to their week one production if they want to get out of there with a win and should not think of the Bucs as a weak opponent.
The Buccaneers are under a new fiery coach that gave Dallas’s division rival New York Giants a scare last week after building an early lead and disrupting ELI Manning. Eli was able to get reads on the team and made an improbably comeback with over 250 yards passing in the fourth quarter alone. Despite this, Tampa Bay could be 2-0 easily and must be taken seriously by Dallas.
