The Cowboys will travel to Florida on Sunday to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James stadium. Both are having disappointing seasons as expectations were high for both teams. The Cowboys have had back to back losses on last second field goals that iced their kicker the past two weeks. Expectations are always high for the team due to owner Jerry Jones and his newly acquired stadium. Currently the Cowboys are second in the division at 7-6, but are close to the Giants in the standings. The team, led by Tony Romo, will look to shake some of the bad luck off and get back into position to squeak in the playoffs.
Lucky for Dallas they play a 4-9 Tampa team who also had high expectations this season. After a break out season last year, Buccaneer quarterback Josh Freeman has had less luck getting his team in the win column. Running back Legarette Blount and wide receivers Benn and Williams have also not had as much production. To make matters worse, their defense gives up some of the highest point totals in the league.
Right now it looks like Dallas should be able to easily get a victory, but it may just come down to dumb luck Sunday. Dallas has the better offense, but neither has had an effective defense. Dallas and Tampa have both simply not met expectations and in the past couple weeks it seems nothing can go right for either team.
Prediction: Last team to make a dumb mistake loses… Dallas 28 Tampa Bay 24
