Do the Dallas Cowboys have what it takes to beat the New England Patriots this upcoming Sunday in Foxborough? The Cowboys (2-2) are coming to MA to face the outstanding Patriots (4-1). This contest might get ugly if the Cowboys can’t get their focus on the game early enough. The Patriots have some big weapons in Top Brady and Wes Welker. Welker is outstanding so far this year, with already 740 yards receiving through only 5 games! Tom Brady is as equally devastating with 14 passing touchdowns and a quarterback rating of a whopping 109.8. This Cowboys team has to practice hard this week if they want to even be in the same game at the Pats.
The Cowboys do not have any dominant players to emerge so far this year, and that seems to be a concern. Tony Romo has only 7 passing touchdowns with 5 interceptions. The rushing game has not been able to get going so far this year, and it seems as if “America’s Team” has been declining over the years. Miles Austin has not been active the past 2 games and coming off a bye week, the team says they see positive signs in Austin. It Miles can get healthy enough to play against the Patriots on Sunday, I would not be surprised for the cowboys to go in and pull off an upset. When Miles is healthy, he gets on fire on the field. Depending on if Austin can go Sunday will have a big impact on the outcome of the game. Don’t count the Cowboys out of this contest, they have some weapons, they just have not come alive yet.
